As you’re making plans for the holiday season, something to include on your family’s agenda: A performance of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas at Adventure Theatre. ‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.” But wait! A mouse is stirring – because Santa missed his house last year. Before you can say ‘Merry Christmas!’, we’re off on the wild adventures of a mouse, an elf and a spunky little girl who just won’t take ‘no’ for an answer. Don’t miss this joyful tribute to the holiday season from three-time Tony nominee and Olivier Award winning playwright Ken Ludwig!

Our family saw the show at Adventure Theatre years ago, and we all absolutely adored it. Based loosely on the classic holiday poem, the production is full of fun and whimsy that will leave everyone feeling jolly.

Enter for a Chance to Win Tickets to Junie B. Jones, The Musical at Adventure Theatre!

A beloved children’s book character is coming to the Adventure Theatre stage, as Junie B. Jones, The Musical opens this weekend and runs through March 30. Even better, you have a chance to win a Family 4-Pack of tickets to see it!

It is Junie B.’s first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie’s friend, Lucille, does not want to be her best pal anymore and, on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal,” and first grade has never been more exciting. Featuring a tremendously loveable character and fun-filled songs, Junie B. Jones will capture your audience members’ hearts just as the books captivated an entire generation of students.

Tickets for Junie B. Jones, The Musical are $25 and can be purchased online. You can also try to win them through the giveaway below.

Ticket Giveaway: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe at Adventure Theatre!

As you’re making plans for the holiday season, here’s one to include on your family’s agenda: Adventure Theatre’s unique production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Opening November 17 and running through January 7, the show is sure to delight audiences of all ages!

In this two-person version of the classic tale, Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy discover a secret portal to a magical world called Narnia. With an evil White Witch ruling the kingdom, can Lucy, her new friend Mr. Tumnus, and her family band together to save this land from the eternal winter?

The kids and I saw Adventure Theatre’s magical version of the show several years ago, and I’ve been told it’s the same, just with different actors. We loved it then — you can read my review of it here.

Tickets for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe are $25 and available for purchase online. You can also try to win a Family 4-Pack through the giveaway!
