SitterCity.com – Take advantage of their new offer, good through the month of August: Save 20% off memberships at Sittercity.com with the code SCHOOL.

SalesVote – The new company out of Georgetown has a deal for Pottery Painting and Ceramic Decoration at All Fired Up for $7.  Good at both the DC and Bethesda locations.

Mamapedia – They currently have deals on photo cards and announcements, personalized labels and tags, Parents Magazine, and more. And don’t forget that they send 5% of your purchase total to the school of your choice.

Groupon Getaways – If you haven’t signed up to receive these deals on travel accommodations, I highly suggest you do.  I’ve seen many offers that would be great for both family stays and parents’ getaways.

Start the weekend with some good deals!  Here are current offers from our local deal sites, plus a few more that will be of interest no matter where you are.

Groupon Getaways – In case you hadn’t heard, Groupon is now offering travel deals. They are mostly hotel/resort stays, and many are family-friendly with no extra charge for young children.

Hanna Anderson – Their pre-season back-to-school sale is going on through August 14. Save on fall clothes for girls, boys & pre-schoolers.

SalesVote  – This new local deal site out of Georgetown has an offer for a private swim lesson for just $9 at LivingWell Health Club, a great opportunity for kids to literally get their feet wet.

SitterCity.com – Need a baby sitter? Use the code BEACH to save 15% on a membership to Sittercity.com through July 31.

LivingSocial – The Washington, DC Family Edition currently has a birthday party deal: $126 for a Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop Party Package.

There are some great family deals currently available. Here’s where you can get in on them.

What’s the Deal: $8 for tickets to a baseball game. See the Nats play the pirates on May 17 or 18 for 50% off.

LivingSocial DC Family Edition: $150 for a pizza party for up to 20 kids at select Potomac Pizza locations. When you consider how much kids parties can end up costing these days, this is a great deal.

Mamapedia: Just $4 for admission to storytime at The Kreeger Museum. And don’t forget to select a school to receive a donation of 5% of your purchase.  See the website for details on both the offer and their Savings for Schools program.
