Celebrate Chanukah at The National Menorah Lighting
Another big lighting will take place on the Ellipse to celebrate the holiday season. The National Menorah Lighting will take place on December 1 at 4pm, just in time for Chanukah, which begins that very evening at sundown. The public is invited to be part of the ceremony. Tickets are required, but they are free — sign up here for the chance to receive them.
Along with the “candle” lighting, guests can enjoy latkes and donuts, menorah kits and dreidels, entertainment by Dreidelman and the Macabees, and more fun for the family.
