Do you know a student aged 8 to 16 who’s ready to make theatre magic this summer? Camp Arena Stage is back in person with its fantastic program that offers kids a fun and comprehensive theatre experience.
Camp is run by Arena Stage, a premiere arts institution and one of the very first regional theatres (and presenter of some of our favorite shows over the years — see a few here, here, and here). The in-person program lets students learn by doing — expanding their creativity in theater, dance, music, visual art, filmmaking, writing, and more. With the encouragement and guidance of professional artists and educators, campers have the chance to explore a variety of theatre elements and opportunities to share them with the camp community. (We know from experience — Owen attended and loved the camp a few years ago, and you can read about it here.)
Camp is held at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, and there are two camp sessions this summer, a three-week session from July 5-22, and a two-week session from July 25 – August 5. All campers, staff, and volunteers must be fully vaccinated.
