Au Pair Cultural Fair

If you’ve ever considered an au pair as a child care option and are interested in learning more about it, then take note of this event being held this weekend. On Saturday, April 9, families are invited to attend Au Pair in America’s Cultural Fair at Glen Echo Park from 1-3pm.

The Cultural Fair is being held in celebration of the 25th anniversary of both Au Pair in America and the U.S. Department of State’s legal au pair program.  Organized by Au Pair in America counselors from the greater DC Metro area, the fair is a great opportunity for families who are exploring child care possibilities and are curious about au pair programs. Au Pair in America host families and their au pairs — who represent more than 35 countries — will be in attendance along with Au Pair in America staff to answer questions.

Bring the whole gang for this family affair.  Along with the chance to learn about au pair programs, there will be kids’ activities and a parade on the promenade (costumes optional) for children in attendance.

This is a free event, and an RSVP is recommended. Call community counselor Ann Robertson at 202.398.0565 to reserve your spot.
