Local favorite film festival, DC Shorts, is getting ready to present REWIND, a re-screening and retrospective look at the biggest hits of the last seven years. Thematically based screenings will take place at the Atlas Performing Arts Center on January 28 & 29, among them the Free Family Film screening on Saturday morning.
Recommended for ages 8 and up, the screening will feature 90 minutes of kid-friendly films from around the world. If that seems long for kiddos with short attention spans, keep in mind that the films are shorts — all less than 20 minutes long. Descriptions of the featured films are available of the REWIND website.
Tickets are free and should be reserved online in advance. Coupons for pre or post-screening snacks at neighboring eateries are also available on the website.
