Family Christmas Concert at the Kennedy Center

Concerts at the Kennedy Center are wonderful any time of the year, but they’re especially magical during the holidays when the halls are adorned with seasonal decorations, spirits are jovial, and family activities are in demand. This weekend is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the experience; on Saturday, December 18, The Choral Arts Society of Washington presents a Family Christmas Concert: The Night Before Christmas, a theatrical concert for audiences of all ages.

The performance brings the classic holiday story to life through music and also includes the fable of The Reluctant Dragon.  The show is 75 minutes long, with no intermission, so little ones may even be able to sit through its entirety.  And with the curtain opening at 4pm, timing is perfect for early afternoon nappers.

Tickets range from $15 – $45, but before you purchase them through the Kennedy Center website, be sure to check Goldstar — they currently have a deal for half-price tickets and still have seats available.  If those sell out before you can get them, you can purchase tickets at the regular price here.

The Kennedy Center is located at 2700 F Street NW.  Visit the website for information on directions and parking.
