Thank you very much for this opportunity! My daughter is a new fan of Annie, having auditioned at a recent children’s show using the song “Tomorrow.” We saw the remake with Jamie Foxx. Not sure I appreciated the remake nearly as much as the original.

My daughter and I both love to sing, “Tomorrow!” And I especially love to torment her when she keeps asking over and over when we are doing something that she is really excited about by breaking out into that song (with revised lyrics of course). “Your friend is coming over TOMORROW! It’s only a day away!”
Tie between Tomorrow and Hard Knock!

Hard Knock Life!
My favorite song from Annie is Tomorrow. I like it because it is a beautiful reminder that no matter how tough life gets, how dark the clouds, how stormy the weather, tomorrow is a new day filled with the hopeful promise of sunny skies and calmer winds of change. And better yet, it’s only a day away. 🙂
Easy! “The sun will come out tomorrow…”
🙂
It will have to be “Hard Knock Life”.
Hard Knock Life. Always a favorite when it’s time to clean. 🙂
Oh my gosh did I love this movie and subsequently the stage show. I remember getting the record and playing it over-and over-and over again on my plastic Fisher Price table top record player. I was so petrified to scratch it! All of the music from the original movie was spectacular and it’s nearly impossible to pick one. My top two faves are “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” and “Lets Go to the Movies”. Wow, just writing this is making me want to on demand the movie….it’s like watching Footloose,Top Gun, Weird Science, Breakfast Club….just never ever gets old.
The sun will come out tomorrow
At the moment my daughter’s favorite Annie song is Tomorrow. We just heard it again this morning on the Sirius Broadway channel. It reminded her of the movie (the new one) we saw a few months ago.

My 5 year old sings along with a lot of the songs, but she first started singing I think I’m Gonna Like it Here! Her twin gets more excited by Together At Last. I’m so excited to be sharing my favorite musical with my girls. It would be great to be able to take them to their first musical!
