I was just alerted to this contest by Travel Onion, one of my partners and a fantastic online hub of local blogs covering destinations around the globe. My first thought was that a challenge to win a MINI Countryman didn’t really apply to my audience or me — a MINI family car is an obvious contradiction in terms, right? — but then I read a little more about the auto and realized that might not be the case at all. The Countryman may be a MINI, but it’s a bigger MINI, with four doors, four-wheel drive, and a back seat equipped to accommodate a couple of car seats. It’s a “mom car” in a nice, sporty package!
One of these could be yours for free through the MINI Countryman Wanderlust campaign, which includes a contest intended to inspire people to experience new adventures. Just come up with an idea for a “wanderlust” event and submit it through this online form. If an idea turns into a real event, contestants have a chance to win a 2011 MINI Countryman at the end of the campaign. Additional weekly prizes will also be given away for ideas that earn the most community votes.
