The President and First Lady just announced that this year’s White House Easter Egg Roll will be held on Monday, April 25. And you have a chance to be part of it.
An online lottery for tickets will open March 10, and will close on March 13. You can enter through the Recreation.gov website when the lottery officially begins at 12:01am this Thursday morning. Families must have a child 12 or under to enter.
This year’s Easter Egg Roll will promote health and wellness with the theme “Get Up and Go,” following the First Lady’s ‘Let’s Move!’ initiative, a national campaign to combat childhood obesity. The event will feature live music, sports courts, cooking stations, storytelling and, of course, Easter egg rolling, a White House tradition that dates back to 1878.
If the event is the same as past years, tickets are for timed entry and free of charge. You just have to win them.
Good Luck!
