Father’s Day may be just around the corner, but this Sunday, 6/13, is a time to Celebrate Mama! The free event at GWU’s University Yard is being hosted by the group of the same name that offers resources for business-minded moms. There will be activities for the whole family to enjoy, plus live performances by Little Maestro’s, The Singing Lizard, Barely Five Feet, and My Gym. The first 300 families will receive free gift bags, and large gift baskets will be raffled off with proceeds going to the March of Dimes. The event runs from 10am – 4pm. University Yard is located on 20th Street NW, between G & H Streets.
