The first immersive Winter Lantern Festival is coming to the area from December 16 through February 12! Lerner Town Square in Tysons, VA, will be transformed into a dazzling world of light with over 1,000 Chinese lanterns, all handmade by artisans with decades of experience. The lanterns and bright displays will light the night and bring warmth and fun this holiday season.
The Winter Lantern Festival has been enchanting 150,000 gets annually in New York for the past three years, and is said to be an experience not to be missed. Wander through a wonderland of light that includes Chinese myths, legends, and zodiacs. The handmade lanterns also encompass a world of ice, including displays of mammoths, polar bears, and penguins.
