Smithsonian Sleepovers

If your kid missed the first Smithsonian Sleepover of the season earlier this month, have no worries.  The event is taking place a few more times this summer on July 31, August 7, and August 21 (though that date is open to Girl Scouts only). If you just want quick details on how to participate, here’s the deal: The program is open to kids 8-12 years old. Cost is $125 General Admission and $115 Smithsonian Resident Associate & Friends of the Smithsonian members. You must pre-register and pay in advance by calling the Smithsonian at 202.633.3030 (Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm), or you can register at the Ticket Window at S. Dillon Ripley Center 1100 Jefferson Drive SW (Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm). Registration cut-off is 2pm on Friday for both Friday and Saturday Sleepovers.
