1. Just because we’ve had some 70+ degree days lately, that doesn’t mean you can’t ice skate under the sky. A few local outdoor rinks have opened for the season, and more will start welcoming the public to glide around over the next few weeks. See where you can hit the ice at both outdoor and indoor rinks around the area.
2. In case you missed it, the 2023 KFDC Guide to the Holiday Season Around DC was posted yesterday. I highly recommend giving it a good read soon, as tickets are on sale for most events, and some tend to sell out quickly and the most sought after dates go fast. It’s also not a bad idea to get a head start on holiday planning. Time seems to fly even faster this time of year, so it’s nice to get some of it done early and avoid the crunch later.
3. And while we’re on the subject of holidays, if you need some help with Thanksgiving meal prep, Washington Post has a round-up of restaurants offering takeout for your feast.
4. The holiday gift catalogs are pouring in, and this one in particular really caught my attention. How pretty are these? Or this? I can think of so many potential giftees…
5. Love this so much, I made it our Halloween costume. (Though no one had any clue who we were, even with the song playing on repeat while we were handing out candy. 😂) The whole documentary series is so good, I highly recommend giving it a watch.
