‘Tis the season

1. NoMa BID’s Pumpkin Palooza begins today!  Join them for both socially distant and virtual festivities through October 30 to celebrate the Halloween season! This includes three pumpkin pick-up locations throughout the neighborhood where you can get a FREE pumpkin, decorating supplies and fun goodies!  Pick-ups are today 2-6pm at REI Plaza (201 M Street NE), tomorrow 10am – 2pm at Qualia Coffee (151 Harry Thomas Way), and on Friday 2-6pm at  Union Square (999 North Capitol Street).  Register in advance for a pick-up time slot.

2. The B&O Railroad Museum is hosting a Halloween-themed Toddler Time tomorrow at 10am.  Enjoy a socially-distant craft and Halloween story time, followed by a costume parade, with pre-filled goodie bags available for pick-up at the end. Costumes recommended but not required. Admission is $20/adult, $17/senior, $12/child age 2-12.

3. Kramerbooks has a great promo going on right now… when you spend $100 in their bookstore this month, you get a $25 gift card.  (Think, holiday gifts!)

4. This upcoming animation series based on the beloved children’s books sounds wonderful!

5.  The 52 Stages of Insomnia 😆😩
