1. Annmarie Sculpture Garden’s annual ArtsWalk is taking place this weekend, but re-imagined and reconfigured for social distancing. Enjoy an arts-filled stroll through the garden with artist booths scattered through the woods, a variety of musical moments, no-touch activities for kids, creative experiences and surprises, and delicious food and drink. 2. Ballston Exchange is hosting three separate movie nights on the Paseo in between 4201 and 4121 Wilson Blvd. Space Jam will be shown tomorrow, September 17, Cool Runnings on September 20, and Hook on September 24. Admission is $40 for a group of 4, and that includes 6’x6′ feet picnic blanket and a $10 gift card to a Ballston Exchange retailer. Reserve tickets here.
3. Do you know about Books from Birth? DC children enrolled in the program can get a free book every month from birth until the age of five! The program, part of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, helps foster early childhood literacy. All parents have to do to receive the monthly books is register here.
4. New front porch fall decor? They might not get as much notice during these times of less visitors, but some of these fall-themed doormats are really fun.
