Go for a spin on the beautiful Dentzel Carousel at Glen Echo Park

Go for a spin on the beautiful Dentzel Carousel at Glen Echo Park

This is always a great time of year in DC, and not only because of the warmer weather and colorful hues that come with spring. It’s also when some of the area’s best annual events occur. Say “oui” to a Georgetown outing, celebrate a grand carousel, explore your world at local university, enjoy a day of fun on a dairy farm, experience “shear” joy at one of the best parks around, spend a day with beloved train, and even more. And the compilation of the best outdoor places and the big list of indoor activities have even more ideas for mainstay fun. Happy Weekend!

  1. The garden sale at the National Arboretum according to their website was Friday and Saturday NOT Sunday. We are still planning to go but thought I would add the update.

Oops! Thank you for catching that, Luis. Glad you are still planning to go – the Arboretum is fantastic anytime. 🙂
