Put your hands in the air and say, “Huzzah!”
Hear ye, hear ye! Dost thou feel the merriment in the air? The return of the faire-est event in all the land is upon us… The Maryland Renaissance Festival begins its nine-weekend carouse at Revel Grove this Saturday, August 29, and will carry on the mirth through October 25.

Merriment starts here
I say this every year, and I will reiterate it again: If there is one event everyone should experience, the Maryland Renaissance Festival is it. I’ve actually posted and raved about it so many times that everything you need to know about why you should go can be found here, here, here, here, and here (wow, I’ve been at this blogging thing for awhile!).

A man stuffed in a giant pink balloon – of course!
With all the background about the faire in previous posts, now you just need this year’s logistics: The Maryland Renaissance takes place once again in Crownesville, MD, in the lovely hamlet of Revel Grove, August 29 – October 25. Huzzah!
Are kids under 6 allowed to bring their own water bottles? On website it says one sealed manufactures bottle per person. I’m wondering if little ones have an exception. I have a 3 and 5 year old. They like their water bottles! We are going tomorrow and planning to arrive at 10:15. Do you think ticket line will be long already? I planned to just buy at the gate. Thank you!
