Five Things for Today: September 19, 2020

1.  The weather is going to be glorious this weekend, so get out and relish in it!  The round-up of the Best Places in the DC Area to Enjoy A Beautiful Day Outdoors with the Kids is full of ideas of places to go and updated for COVID.  Specifically, if you’re planning to hit the trail, find local hikes here.  If you prefer to get around on two wheels, here are recs for bike rides in the area.  And if you just want to chill out, these 10 places to find peace and calm are worth a look.

2.  Calling all little paleontologists… it’s Dino Day at the Maryland Science Center! From 12-4pm, there will be an array of dinosaur focused activities at the Baltimore museum along with all of the permanent exhibits.  Tickets are $25.95/adult, $19.95/age 3+.  Safety measures are in place for COVID — read about them here.  And read more about the Maryland Science Center here.

3.  How to still do all of your favorite fall activities.

4. If you haven’t yet seen it, I highly recommend watching this.
