Five Things for Today: July 23, 2020

It may not look like Opening Day at Nationals Park, but the Nats 2020 season begins tonight!

Today’s 5 things are sponsored by Adventure Theatre

1. It’s Opening Day! The Nats play their first game of this weird, shortened, no-stadium-fans season against the Yankees tonight at 7:08pm. Find details on how to watch here.

2. Plan for tomorrow and upcoming Fridays: At 10am, join Outdoor Yoga Storytime for Kids. Part of Takoma Park Library events and led by a children’s librarian/yoga enthusiast, sessions take place weekly on the Takoma Park Recreation Center lawn at (7315 New Hampshire Avenue). Registration is required, as space is very limited. Follow the link to sign up and for more information.

3. It is now required to wear a face mask in public in DC.

4. In Defense of Our Teachers by Dave Grohl.

5. Your tearjerker of the day, courtesy of Humans of New York.
